Affiliated to MAKAUT (formerly WBUT), SITM provides regular courses with experienced faculties. Our wide range of contemporary courses aims to enrich the skills of our learners and give them a profound knowledge of the present industries and technologies. Keeping in mind the demands of new skills in industries we give emphasis on the growth of practical skills and knowledge. We believe that the key to success is the urge to learn new skills.

Syamaprasad Institute of Technology & Management (SITM) was established in 2002 with a vision to make Technology and Management Education available for all strata of learners. What we dream, we aim to build. In 2002, SITM started with only BCA course but now we offer courses from BBA, BBA in Hospital Management, Multimedia & Graphics to courses in Data Science. We have never compromised when it comes to educating our learners, with our upgraded industry-based technologies we cater to provide first-hand knowledge among our learners.

The library is a member of N-LIST (a project funded by the MHRD through INFLIBNET) which provides electronic access to huge number of e journals and e-books. The library provides open access to all teachers, staff and students through we OPAC system.
